Gemsweeper is a new puzzle game with the same game concept as "Minesweeper" that little game of deduction built into your Pc.
But, instead of finding out where bombs are hidden, Gemsweeper challenges you to uncover hidden treasure by breaking through rocks.

Game Play
Your goal is to rebuild an ancient temple city by solving a series of over 225 mind bending game levels.
The puzzles in Gemsweeper are a grid of stones which are faced down so you don't know what is behind them. Your job is to uncover gems which are hidden behind some of the tiles and to break tiles which are cursed. Numerical clues above and to the left of the board tell you where the hidden gems are. Use these clues wisely, and you will be able to solve the puzzles without having to guess.

Gemsweeper is brain teasing, but the rules are easy to learn. If you should ever get stuck, Professor McGuffog will put you right back on track with various useful hints. Starting as an inexperienced newbie, you will climb the 30 ranks to become a world famous treasure hunter

Gemsweeper gives you many different ways to solve the game., The difficulty level ranges from very easy to highly challenging puzzles which makes Gemsweeper interesting for both beginner and experienced game players. Additional, you can choose between the relaxing Quest mode and the exciting Arcade game mode.

Game Score
If you've deduced a spot that must be a cursed tile, you can right mouse-click and use the hammer to smash the piece, which removes it from the board. Game levels get much tougher as you advance through the game by introducing much bigger grids, new rules and power-ups. You only have a certain amount of time to finish each game level. Tricky is that if you click on cursed stones too often you will lose the game.

Gemsweeper is a refreshingly different and difficult game with brilliant graphics, popular music and over 225 levels. It does not require fast reflexes and is even easy for kids to learn, but requires enough strategy to keep you hooked for hours.
