Welcome aboard the Text Express! Keep your game train moving by unscrambling letters to form words in this challenging word game. Build words faster than your opponent and make it to the next Express station first!
Game Play
Goal of the game is to make the Text Express reach the next game station before your competitor's train does. Your train moves if you make words using the six letters located on the pieces of coal at the bottom of your game screen. If you make a 3 to 6 letter word, the coals are thrown into the fire, thrusting your train forward. Keep making words to keep your train moving!
If you reach the next station first, you can play the next game level. Each station will be further away than the previous one so you will have to make more words in each level to complete it. The game is over if your competitor's train reaches the next station first.
Game score
The Text Express is on a strict two minutes schedule. For every word you make, you get a burst of speed forward. Just carry on shuffling the letters, because that other train just keeps on going…
If you reach the next station earlier, you will enter the bonus mode. Here you have the chance to make more words without the pressure of the other train catching up. When your competitor’s train reaches the station, the two minutes are up and the journey to the next station begins with 6 new letters.
The words you form are listed on the game screen. This word list helps you locating missing words as it shows space holders for all the words that can be found with the 6 provided letters.
You can play the Text Express game using the mouse or the keyboard. The amount of your high score depends on the length of the words you make:
- 3 letter word - 30 points
- 4 letter word - 50 points
- 5 letter word - 80 points
- 6 letter word - 120 points
Sometimes you'll get a glowing piece of coal. If you use it in a word, the score of that word is doubled. If you make long words, you'll get more glowing pieces of coal.
